WHY I CREATED GAMEBAG
I’ve loved sports for as long as I can remember. Growing up, sports were always a big part of my life, and that hasn’t changed. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to coach my kids, and I still play in adult basketball, volleyball, and softball leagues today. I’ve also always dreamed of creating a product of my own, so when the opportunity came to build something around sports, it just made sense.
The idea for Gamebag came together while I was sitting at my daughter’s volleyball tournament. I noticed athletes carrying balls that wouldn’t fit in their backpacks, charging phones along the gym walls, bringing separate coolers for drinks, and throwing dirty shoes in with their clean gear. Some were carrying multiple bags just to have everything they needed for the day.
That’s when I started thinking: Why couldn’t one backpack do it all?
Gamebag was created to solve those everyday problems and make practices, games, and tournaments easier for athletes. Every feature was added with athletes and the things they need throughout the day in mind. One backpack with a place for everything.
